HAMS 7 ROUTINES

Twist

The Aces turn over one at a time… except the fat triple-cheeseburger Ace of Spades that refuses to flip like a wife after 25 years of marriage. It’s a take on the classic Twisting the Aces effect while having a logical conclusion.

Hitchcock Thing

A combination of two classic effects — Hitchcock Travelers and King Thing by Darwin Ortiz and Richard Sanders, respectively.

Miami Opener

The classic Chicago Opener given the PigCake treatment: making it sweaty and short.

Card Cut Thing

Spectator cuts a packet against their chest, peeks, and shuffles. You immediately know the card. (Includes a no-short-card version where they imagine the card on a Joker and you still nail it.)

Club Hamwich

A gimmickless version of the marketed Club Sandwich routine by Andrew Normansell. Has all the strength of the original without the sadness of carrying around special cards.

The Face

Get your passes ready for this one. The participant is given a crash course in the different locations of the deck while you destroy their feeble minds.

Appointment In Alexandria

I always loved Darwin Ortiz’s amazing Appointment in Samarra, however, this variation allows you to get the same effect without prior setup.

FANTASIES 8 ROUTINES

Felicity

Spectator thinks of any card. You name both the card and its exact position in the deck. Both were predicted long before they ever touched the pack.

What If?

A self-working effect that answers the question: What if I would have picked a different card?

17 ½

You look at a stranger and declare they are a 17. They name any card. You spread the deck showing completely different numbers written on the backs… until you reach their card, which is marked with the number 17. No need for a Phil Deck.

Uno World

Out of This World performed with a real UNO deck. The spectator themselves separates the colors while the deck is openly mixed.

Uno Momento

Spectator shuffles a UNO deck. You correctly name the colors of several random cards one by one, then finish by duplicating a drawing that matches the final color.

Calling Card

A progressive card calling effect into a clean thought reveal. Allows you to force anything to a dirty participant.

ACAAN

Two people find each other’s cards. Fair as hell.

FreeFall

Three spectators and three borrowed objects. One is secretly the murderer. Without looking, you identify the murderer and correctly name which object each person is hiding on their body. Propless, impromptu, all the other buzzwords.
